Hershey Park

For the 4th of July weekend, we decided to take a trip to Hershey park in Pennsylvania! We want to get as much done as we can while we live on the east coast, so we figured, why not?

Gettysburg was on the way, and Amish country was close-ish but we decided not to stop in either of those places, because knowing myself I thought I would get bored easily or find something I wanted to buy but couldn't, and Hans agreed,  so we went straight to Hershey park :)

It is only a couple of hours away from us so the drive wasn't too bad. On the first night we were there we went to chocolate world and did the Hershey factory tour and saw a 4D movie.

Ryan was smiling and kicking his legs the whole time! He loved it!

Ryan also loved our hotel room :) he was indifferent about the pool.

Double thumb sucking :)
Cuddling with dad
The next day we spent at Hershey park! The 4th of July
Hans on the "flow rider"
Ryan didn't care much about the water
And we went on the Ferris wheel
And waited in line...
We saw a couple shows
Ryan photo bomb :)
Contrary to what the pictures show, we found that an amusement park with young children is not easy! After running out of diapers, and a baby who didn't want to eat or sleep because he was too distracted, we decided to head back to our hotel :) we put him to bed and spent the rest of our 4th of July like this:
And we don't feel one bit bad about it :)

We went to the outlets the next day and then made our way back home! It was a fun trip, very refreshing to do something different than we normally do :)

Happy 4th of July everyone! We are so grateful for the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy :)
