The second week of our trip We made our way down to the beach. We LOVE the beach. We had SO much fun!
Unfortunately While stretching in church Hans did something to his back that was very painful! Here he is laying in the only comfortable position on the bed with Ice on his back… that looks like a hunchback. Haha!
We still made it down to the beach though, and after some good rest pain medication and a couple days, Hans was feeling back to normal !
The beach house
My dad made us awesome breakfasts every morning :)
Our first full day at the beach!

Hans and I went early morning shell hunting a couple times. It was fun! and we found so many sand dollars ! Close to 20 of them!
We went to “sand mountain” aka Cape Kiwanda one of the days to climb the huge sand mountain. It seems like it was a lot easier to do when I was younger…. it was tough!
This is us at the top. so pretty!
We also had some campfires on the beach, and made s'mores. yum!
They fell asleep while watching the Olympics one morning
Awesome lunch at the beach! Roasting Hot dogs, smores, and watermelon, yum!

After the beach we made our way home. 3 long days of driving! With one stop to see the newest addition to the family, our New Cousin, Luke!
He was as cute as can be and I never wanted to stop holding him! It was so good to see and spend time with their little family! We have missed them!
Now we are back! It was a long trip, but very fun! We are happy to be back to our temporary home in Colorado, but ready to be in our own home. We plan to leave this week, its scary, exciting, and very stressful to be moving across the country. We can only hope that all goes well! :)
